Data Deletion Instructions

Your Right to Deletion
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by WPOrder. This applies to both restaurant owners and end customers who have interacted with our platform via WhatsApp, Telegram, or web chat.
What Data Can Be Deleted
- Your name and contact details (phone number, email).
- Conversation history and messages.
- Order history and delivery addresses.
- Account information (for restaurant owners).
- Any preferences or profile data stored by the platform.
Note: Some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation (e.g. financial records for tax purposes) or where it is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to hello@wporder.co.uk with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your name.
- The phone number or email associated with your interactions.
- The restaurant(s) you interacted with (if known).
- Whether you want full account deletion or deletion of specific data.
Option 2: WhatsApp / Telegram Message
Send a message saying "Delete my data" to the same WhatsApp or Telegram number you used to place orders. The restaurant staff will be notified to process your request.
What Happens Next
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
- We will verify your identity to prevent unauthorised deletion.
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days of the request.
- You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete.
For Restaurant Owners
If you are a restaurant owner and wish to delete your WPOrder account and all associated data (including customer records, order history, and conversation logs), please contact us at hello@wporder.co.uk. Account deletion will cancel your subscription and permanently remove all data associated with your restaurant.
